Mast & Wax
Rope goods and beeswax candles, made slowly in a small workshop by the water.
We splice cotton rope into things that hold: dog leads, key fobs, bell pulls and door stops. We pour beeswax into tins and tapers that burn clean and smell faintly of honey. Nothing here is in a hurry, including us.
Made to be used. Built to outlast the fashion for it.
Every knot is tied by hand. Every candle is poured in small batches, then left to cure for two weeks before it leaves the bench.
